The 14th Season of the Hamdan Bin Mohammed Bin Rashid Al Maktoum International Photography Award (HIPA) celebrated 22 winners across a variety of categories including black & white photography, sports photography, and drone cinematography — all centered around the season’s theme: POWER. Held at the iconic auditorium of the Museum of the Future, the ceremony achieved a full-house attendance, with every seat occupied.
Evolution was entrusted with conceptualizing and delivering a unique creative direction for the awards, inspired by a bespoke sub-theme and tagline created for this year: “Your Power, Your Perspective.” This narrative guided the design of the event’s scenic environment, motion graphics, on-screen storytelling, and digital content, all meticulously crafted to reflect the emotion and energy behind each photographic submission. To elevate the audience experience, Evolution delivered custom film development, bespoke video sequences, and original music composition, mixed and produced in 7.1 surround sound to fully immerse guests in the storytelling journey. A dedicated winners gallery was designed and built featuring integrated screens that displayed tailored content for each category and recipient. The pre-function area was fully fitted with stylish lounge seating, high tables, plants, and decorative elements, ensuring a refined guest experience. Evolution also installed an extended feature wall with a built-in screen showcasing a live feed of the ceremony, enhancing engagement and creating a seamless event flow. Through creative direction, scenic craftsmanship, audiovisual design, and on-ground execution, Evolution delivered a standout experience that reflected the prestige and artistic excellence of the HIPA Awards. |
